The Yamaha BB 234 Electric Bass is a 4-string model featuring an alder body, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and Custom V3 pickups. The BB 234 is the introductory version of the hardest working bass from Yamaha.

Powered by split-coil and single-coil Custom V3 pickups in the neck and bridge positions respectively, this bass guitar delivers a clean, well-defined sound thanks to ceramic magnets. One tone control and two volume control knobs allow for versatile sound shaping.

A slightly thinner neck improves playability and feel for modern and traditional players. Lightweight tuners offer a better balance and complement the overall feel of this guitar, thereby providing an ideal match for the small, light body.
